In the currently used histopathological evaluation of the tumor, biology of pancreatic cancer is determined by the histologilogical garde G, but it does not reflect a corret pictureof the processes occurring between tumor cells and thier environment. The aim of the study was to evaluate the following elements of the microenvironment of pancreatic cancer : the expression of growth factors, infiltrating inflamatory cells, local enzymatic activity as well as the process of lymphagiogenesis. Pancreatic tumor tissue samples were collected from 36 patients who underwent surgical resection due to pancreatic cancer. Our research showed high expresion of the chosen growth factors and thier receptors : EGF and EFR, FGF2,FGF7, IGH-1 and IGF-IR, PDGF-BB, HGF-alfa and c-Met. Only in the case of c-Met receptor is has been shown that the level of expression depends on the grade of differentiation of tumore tissue. Analysis of infiltrating immune cells showed that the presence of macrophages is increased in tumor giving metasstsis to lymph nodes and in the case of the perineural invasion of cancer cells. Using gel zymography and in situ zymography activity metalloproteinase 2 and 9 was determined .The expression level c-Met , the number of infiltrating macrophages or activity of metaloproteinase 2 may be useful in determination of the aggressiveness of the tumor and its invasivve potential.}, title={Wybrane elementy mikroĊ›rodowiska raka trzustki jako uzupeĊ‚nienie klinicznej oceny zaawansowania choroby}, type={Text}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl/Content/58990/PDF/WA697_78686_ZS357_Wybrane-elementy-Gar_0000.pdf}, keywords={Pancreatic cancer}, }
