Description:

The CMR method was used to examine the activity of the bank vole Clethrionomys glareolus (Schreber, 1780) and the yellow-necked mouse Apodemus flavicollis (Melchior, 1834) in the Białowieża National Park during the period from 1967-1968. In spring C. glareolus was distinguished by a multi-phase daily activity pattern, with the main maximum during the morning hours.
