Zbadano podstawowe składniki ciała: tłuszcz, białko, wodę i substancje mineralne podczas pierwszych 6 miesięcy życia nornic (Clethrionomys glareolus), ulaboratoryjnianych w ciągu 8-12 pokoleń. Uzyskane wyniki opracowano statystycznie, opisując relacje między otłuszczeniem a ciężarem ciała równaniami regresji prostej, natomiast tempo przyrostu beztłuszczowej masy ciała (FFB) w zależności od przyrostu jej komponentów-równaniami regresji wielokrotnej.
