Description:

Metabolic levels of 4 male Peromyscus maniculatus, caged from November through July in the semi-natural environment, were measured in a single respirometer also kept outside and exposed to natural meteorological conditions. For tests, conducted in January, April and July, mice were placed in the respirometer and allowed to adjust for 2 days.
