 abstract={This article shows how Polish historian Jan Długosz uses the works of Leonardo Bruni in his Annals and minor works. The examination is based on computer-assisted comparative analysis and on philological methods. The article presents manuscripts and incunabula preserved in Jagiellonian Library containing Bruni’s works, which Długosz certainly knew, and suggests other sources of his reading. It also analyses Długosz’s methods of drawing textual excerpts from Bruni and using them in more detail in his Annals and hagiographical works.},
