 abstract={The article examines the register of tax obligations of the diocese of Poznań prepared in 1561, with a focus on source-based and editorial issues. The author analyses the origins of two manuscripts of tax registers and presents the methodology for preparing their critical edition, both in traditional full-text form and in digital form. This approach, facilitated by the use of the XML-TEI standard and databases, creates more effective tools for presenting sources. The work highlights the importance of digital editing in making research data for historical studies. It includes references to web applications and a data repository that were created during the study.},
