They were screened as part of both the wide (regular) and limited distribution, i.e. restricted only to film societies and arthouse cinemas. Moreover, they could be seen at various festivals and reviews (such as the very popular annual Confrontations [Konfrontacje]) and occasional screenings and solemn premieres.
