It is secreted by thehypothalamus and after binding to a specific receptor it initiates a series ofevents leading to the liberation of lutropin (LH) and finally steroid sex hormones. In some case, the infertility in females and males may be explained bymutations of the LH or LHRH receptor genes. Immunisation of animals withLHRH conjugates induces high titres of antibodies, resulting in the cessation ofthe biological function ofthe hormone and, in the end, in a temporary infertility.}, type={Text}, title={Zastosowanie luliberyny w szczepionkach antykoncepcyjnych}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl/Content/138585/PDF/POZN271_173907_biotechnologia-2001-no1-przeglad.pdf}, keywords={biotechnology}, }
