The fibre preparation of proteolytic activity 51.3 AmU/gwas obtained with 16.6% of yield. The properties ofsubtilisin embedded in TACfibre were investigated. The preparation showed optimal proteolytic activity atpH 9 and temperature 65-70°C. It was stable in a wider range of pH and temperature than the native subtilisin. The value for haemoglobin was 2.6 • lO'^ M.The TAC-fibre biocatalyst, in the fixed bed column, was successfully applied forhydrolysis of casein.}, type={Text}, title={Subtilisin embedded in TAC fibre - properties and application}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl/Content/138631/PDF/POZN271_173975_biotechnologia-2001-no1-trzmiel.pdf}, keywords={biotechnology}, }
