For recombinat protein production two strategies can beapplied. One is to carry out one step fermentation with simultaneous gene expression andelimination of vector-less segregants. The other is to carry out two step fermentation, in whichthe first step is the cell biomass production without gene expression followed by the inductionof gene expression in the second step. In this review different methods of controlling of recombinant gene expression, such as antibiotic pressure, specific mutant application, immobilizedcell bioreactors, selective cell recyrculation, chemical regulations, the use of temperature andoxygen sensitive promoters are presented.}, type={Text}, title={Factors influencing expression of recombinant genes in vitro in E. coli.
