 abstract={The article refers to the text of Joanna Sadowska, who presented the phenomenon of fascination with Polish popular music in Hrodna in the late Soviet period. The subject of youth culture in Belarus has been regarded as marginal by researchers. Through her analysis of the phenomenon of perception of Polish popular music on the example of Television Top Songs List (Telewizyjna Lista Przebojów) movement in Hrodna, the author introduces to the scientific circulation unknown facts from the history of Belarusian alternative culture. The present reflections show the future research paths of study into the youth subcultures in Belarus throughout the Soviet period.},
