However, only few of these processes are understood in detail, and often the mechanism of a particular reaction or its significance has remainedelusive. It is clear, that in some cases tRNA and aminoacyl-tRNA act as regulators of particular metabolicprocesses. These multiple roles of tRNA, aminoacyl-tRNA and aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases lend a newdimension to the study of these macromolecules.
