 abstract={Statistical data do not necessarily come from exact measurements. In many practical cases they are imprecise or even vague. Thus, they are both random and fuzzy. In the paper we present basic notions and methods which have been proposed to cope with that kind of data. It is assumed that fuzzy observations are the realizations of a fuzzy random variable. In this paper we focus our attention on statistical methods when data are considered as fuzzy perceptions of original non-fuzzy random data.},
