Atherosclerosis gradus mediocris.Autopsy examination of 69-year-old patient was performed. Neuropathological evaluation in light microscopy was based on brain paraffin sections stained with Hematoxylin-eosin and van Gieson method.A hemorrhagic focus was found within the left hemisphere putamen, dissecting the surrounding tissue. The periphery showed hemorrhage, blood vessels, glial cells with hemosiderin transforming in a scavanger direction. Thinning of the tissue structure was observed around the focus. A hemorrhagic focus of similar appearance was present in the covering part of the midbrain. The meningeal vessels were congested, atheromatically altered, with a thickened wall, especially in the area of the inner membrane, with a narrowed lumen.}, title={File of histopathological evaluation of nervous system diseases (1964) - nr 2/64}, type={Text}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl/Content/206027/PDF/2_64.pdf}, keywords={Vascular disease- hemorrhages,aneurysms}, }
