Based on the evidence from the oldest urban records, the 1392 ordinance of the town council and the 1434 statute of the tailors’ guild, the Author presents origins of the corporation, foundation of which he dates to the reign of King Casimir III the Great, and locations of tailors’ workshops in the city’s urban space.
