It is contextualized in the south-eastern and eastern borderland of Mazovia, encompassing the catchment areas of the Świder, Kostrzyń and Liwiec rivers, where more than a dozen recorded strongholds formed a well-defined cordon. The interpretation covers the issue of medieval communication routes connecting Czersk with the border castellanies of Liw and Łuków, as well as the location of several settlements located on the periphery of south-eastern Mazovia, the names of which, together with the toponym Zenniza, were recorded in a document from 1220.}, type={Text}, title={Osada Siennica w kontekście wczesnośredniowiecznej rubieży południowo-wschodniego Mazowsza}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl/Content/240287/276679.pdf}, keywords={Mazovia, settlement map, early medieval period, castellany, stronghold, communication routes, Siennica}, }
