Thirty four of water bodies were under observation. In 23 among them (67.6%) the following species of amphibians were present: common frog Rana temporaria, moor frog Rana arvalis, “water frogs” Rana esculenta complex, common spadefoot, fire-bellied toad Bom- bina bombina, common toad Bufo bufo; green toad Bufo viridis; and smooth newt Tritunis vulgaris. “Water frogs” and common frog formed the largest populations.
