 abstract={A total number of 70 species representing 44 genera of all the subtribes within the tribe Pedinini sensu Iwan 2004 (Dendarina, Eurynotina, Platynotina, Pedinina, Melambiina, Loensina, Leichenina, Pythiopina) have been examined. The terminology of the female genital structures has been standardized. The use of the internal female genitaliain the classification of Tenebrionidae is presented. The features of the opatrinoid type ofovipositor (sensu Tschinkel and Doyen 1980) (1) dorso-lateral position of gonostylus; (2) 4 lobes of coxites; (3) paraproct partly enclosing the 1st lobe of coxite; (4) transverse orientation of baculus of 1st lobe of coxite are characterized for the examined taxa.},
