The title “emigrants from hopelessness” are young people who decided to leave their country not because of political reasons or under the influence of a trend to “earn some money on the side”, but with the intention to have a better, more prosperous and more interesting professional life. In their motives, experiences and significances they attribute to their leaving of the country they resemble highly qualified emigrants travelling throughout the world to develop their professional careers.
