In many cases, particulary when the abundance of organisms was law and number of samples was small, great mistakes may occur in estimating the number of fauna; even the use of statistical methods (error of arithmetic mean) does not prevent the occurrence of such mistakes. When there are great abundances of organisms and the numbers of samples are not very small, small surface samplers yield results no worse than those obtained with large surface samplers and save us much time and labour.}, type={Text}, title={Analysis of quantitative benthic methods}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl/Content/69028/PDF/WA058_85974_P2840-T11_Eko-Pol-A-Nr-1.pdf}, volume={11}, number={1}, journal={Ekologia Polska.
