 abstract={A relatively small variability in zoomicrobenthos numbers has been observed within one station and different ones at the same depth in the lake. When comparing the zoomicrobenthos occurrence in succession from litoral deep into the reservoir a distinct number dynamics but a similar qualitative zoomicrobenthos composition was observed. Changes in number on the same stations (examined in two lakes) in six successive years were greater in Mikolajskie Lake than in lake Śniardwy, just the opposite to the changes of the qualitative composition.},
