About 150 original articles focusing on seed proteomics have been published. These papers concern the proteome of at least 21 plant species, but have concentrated mainly on Arabidopsis thaliana and Oryza sativa. The scientific objectives have ranged from proteomic analysis of whole, separate parts of the seeds, seed development, maturation, dormancy, dormancy breaking, germination, response to various stresses, to characterization of individual proteins. The dominant analytical platform has been 2-dimensional electrophoresis coupled to mass spectrometry, but new techniques such as difference gel electrophoresis and isotope coded affinity tags have begun to make an impact.}, type={Text}, title={Seed proteomics}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl/Content/73116/PDF/POZN271_95767_biotechnologia-2009-no1-pawlowski.pdf}, keywords={biotechnology}, }
