P. B., Spergula vernalis Willd. and Androsace septentrionalis L. The factors enumerated above appeared not to affect the germinating capacity and power, but they were found to have an influence on the rate of growth of the germs (thus also, indirectly, on the rate of seedling growth), and on the survival of germs and seedlings.
