TY - GEN A1 - Leśniewicz, K. A1 - Perzanowski, K. N1 - Thirty-one stomach of voles shot in Bieszczady Mountains were collected during two consecutive hunting seasons. Deer tissues amounted to over 55% and wild boar tissues to almost 11% of stomachs content. It appears, that the carcasses of domestic livestock used as a bait consist a significant component of voles diet in winter (over 30% of stomachs content). The authors estimated, that the food requirements of an average wolf in winter, could be covered by consuming two red deer.
