IFTR N1 - [1], 121-262 s. ; 24 cm N2 - The thermomechanical behaviour of fluid-saturated capillary-porous materials exposed to a drying process is examined in the paper. Basing on the balance equations of mass, momentum, energy and entropy and on the restrictions imposed on these equations by the thermodynamics of irreversible processes, one develops the differential equations describing the evolution of the drying body deformations, and the temperature and moisture concentration fields. Several periods of the drying process are distinguished and for these periods the respective models are proposed. The presented theory concerns an arbitrary technology of drying, but examples of boundary conditions are given for the convective means of drying, which is mostly employed in technology.
