Two simplest methods: of Bajkov and Vinberg, were applied. Moreover, during one 24-h cycle, the daily rations were determined by several other methods based on measurements of the 24-h variation of food content in the alimentary canal; the results were closely similar to those obtained by Bajkov's method. Comparison of the results obtained by the methods of Bajkov and Vinberg showed that according to Bajkov's method annual food consumption was much lower and food utilization for increment of body weight was much higher than those obtained according to Vinberg's method.
