Description:

The anatomical system of the basilar arteries of the brain was studied in 34 brains of the wild boar, Sus scrofa (Linnaeus, 1758). The characteristic of this system in the species were multiple middle cerebral arteries and caudal cerebral arteries, as well as a frequently observed asymetry in the site of origin of the caudal cerebellar arteries.
