Abstract:

The equation describing the relationship between food consumption and body weight in nestling Lanius collurio L. is presented. For 15 nestlings between 1 and 13 days of age keeping in laboratory under outdoor conditions for 3 days, the constant (independent of age) coefficient of food consumption per unit of body weight was found.
