A photo shows an elderly woman in a kerchief sitting on a chair, a younger woman with two little boys, a girl, a man with a moustache and a young lad. Summer 1927. Apparent from the description of the owner of the photo this is his family (...) from Targowiska Village near Krosno; photo taken in the Photographic Portrait Studio R. Kraska in Krosno ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
