Badanie wycinka mięśniowego w mikroskopie świetlnym i elektronowym

Abstract:

An 64-year-old patient with suspected myopathy was examined. A biopsy of quadriceps sinister was performed. Electronmicroscopy analysis revealed degenerating muscle fibers with numerous nuclei surrounded by connective tissue. In perimuscular space endothelial blood vessels with morphological features of necrosis were present . Myotube-like fibers with focal Z-line structures and numerous lysosomes were observed. In the cytoplasm dense material was present. It shows the classic ceroid fingerprint pattern, a honeycomb or packed tubule appearance when seen in cross-section.
