Abstract:

A 65 year-old patient with suspected muscular dystrophy was examined. A biceps dexter biopsy was performed .Electronmicroscopy analysis did not revea lserious ultrastructural changes in muscle structure.Discrete focal loss of myofibres is visible.Some of the muscle fibers show excessive accumulation of nuclei-they contain several (upto10) centrally located nuclei in one fiber.
