Muscle segment examination in electron microscopy

Abstract:

Summary A 3-year-old patient with suspected myopathy was examined. A biopsy of quadriceps sinister was performed. Electronmicroscopy analysis revealed ultrastructurally unchanged muscle fibers characterized by normal myofibrils structure (Fig. 1,2,3). Typical nuclei located nuclei are located on the periphery of cells were observed (Fig.4).
