There are two women behind him. Some farm buildings are visible in the background. There are an inscription on the back of the photo: “The son’s baptism. The sister, the Godmother, the Godfather, the brother-in-law behind him and in front of the family house my mother and her oldest sister. Dębnica, Ostrów Wielkopolski district” ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
