The photo depicts a woman in everday dress with three small children. All are standing by the doorway of the hut with a thatched roof. Some farm buildings are visible in a background. The photo was taken by a professional photographer. There is a simplified, questionnaire-like description on the back of the photo: "1. Taken in 1929, autumn 2. Family photo in front of the house 3.
