Abstract:

Based on names of the children born in the Czech Republic at the turn of the 21st century the articleexamines the male and female names possessing features typical of the Polish anthroponymicon. Theirrepertoire, spelling peculiarities, and the frequency of usage are defined. While researching the usagefrequency of the defined names in the Czech Republic, comparison with functioning of the same nameson the territory of Poland was performed.
