Abstract:

This article revievs new methods of enzymes immobilization. Due to high activity under harsh conditions cross-linked enzyme crystals (and aggregates) and biocatalytic plastics are used for catalysys of reactions usefull for pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries, and for medicine. General information about CLECs, CLEAs, and biocatalytic plastics, including methods of their preparation, examples of immobilized enzymes, some chemical and physical properties, and their potential applications are presented.
