Object description:

Ostrze sztyletu z zachowanymi nitami - miejscowość nieznana. Analiza: CL-1988

Method of analysis:

Wstępne szlifowanie odbywało się na papierach karborundowych o ziarnistości 220, 320, 400 i 600 na mokro, następnie próbki wypolerowano w zwykły sposób na filcu za pomocą tlenku glinu. Próbki trawiono odczynnikiem składającym się z: 1 cz.25% NH3 + 1 cz.3% H202. Stosowano trawienie przez pocieranie w czasie od 3 do 15 sek

Results:

Próbka. CL - 1988A - ostrze - w stanie nietrawionym obserwuje się dość dużo drobnych siarczków miedzi o ułożeniu równomiernym. Po wytrawieniu stwierdzono budowę dendrytyczną materiału lanego. Twardość: 158 HV0,15. Próbka CL - 1988B - nit - w stanie nietrawionym obserwuje się dużą ilość siarczków miedzi ułożonych wzdłuż próbki. Po wytrawieniu stwierdzono budowę krystaliczną z bliźniakami. Twardość: 289 HV0,15
