The photo depicts a group of people gathered in a farm courtyard. There is a wooden thatched hut and some farm buildings, a fence and a cart in the background. There are a dozen or so people standing in the courtyard, including four children – one of them is held in her arms by a woman in a light-coloured dress. There is a bicycle propped against the house wall and other farm tools are next to the fence. According to the photo’s owner, it depicts her grandfather with sons and daughters and neighbours and his granddaughter (the girl in a white dress in the middle of the photo) ; summer 1944, Kuchary, voiv. kaliskie
