The photo depicts three young festively dressed women. One of them is sitting in a chair holding a book / an album (?) in her hands; the other two are standing holding handbags in their hands. According to its owner, the photo depicts Bronisława (…), Marianna (…) and Janina (…) from Białowieża. These women were friends. The photo was taken in a photographic studio in Pułtusk in May the 3rd Street ; 1923 (?), Białowieża / Pułtusk ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
