Der Gattungsname Vossia wurde a. a. O. Körnicke aus dem Grunde in Neovossia geänert, weil schon eine ostindische Gramineen-Gattung den Namen Vossia führt. Die brandigen Ovarien unterscheiden sich sofort durch grünliche Fӓrbung von den glänzend braunen ausgereiften Samen . - Vor der Untersuchung empfiehlt es sich, das Präparat in Wasser einzuweichen. - Oefter ist Sclerotium Clavus De Cand. beigemengt., 1583
