Abstract:

Bovine leukemia virus (BLV) is the causative agent for enzootic bovineleukosis (EBL). The article concerns the applications of some biotechnologicalachievements in the development of modern diagnostic methods, new approaches to specific prophylaxis against BLV as well as the selection of naturallyresistant animals.
