Abstract:

RAPD (Randomly Amplified Polymorphic DNA) and glutenin SDS-PAGE analyses were performed on wheat hybrid strains derived from multiple crosses ofhybrids between Ae. ventricosa and T. durum with hexaploid wheat. We found Aegilops specific bands (GO3580 and TO2990) in two hybrid strains(VGPB and VGPAA) using RAPD method. The presence of Ae. ventricosa specificfraction of glutenin was shown in one wheat hybrid strain (VGPP).
