Publisher:

Committee on Biotechnology PAS ; Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS

Abstract:

Molecular markers have been introduced to breeding programmes of vegetables in recent years in Poland. Research done at Dept, of Genetics, Plant Breeding and Seed Science, Agricultural University of Krakow allowed to implementmolecular techniques useful in marker assisted selection, assessment of geneticpurity of breeding lines and hybrids, and estimation of genetic similarity betweenbreeding materials
