Abstract:

During the Polish Biotechnology Congress, the Polish law of biotechnology in relation to the international regulations was discussed. The following aspects were considered: scientific background ofthe regulatory rules, rights ofthe consumers in relation to the needs of the producers, and protection ofintellectual property rights correlated with international conventions and membership of international organisations.
