Abstract:

The Internet has become one of the main means of information exchange between biologist.The development of the World Wide Web has been especially influential in expanding the useof the Internet. This review is meant as an introductory Internet tutorial for the layman withthe emphasis on benefits for molecular biologists. The use of e-mail servers and descriptions ofthe ftp and WWW sites relevant to the biologists are discussed.
