The photo depicts two young women, a man and a boy standing with bicycles in a yard in front of a brick house overgrown with greenery. One of the women is pregnant. All are festively dressed: the women are wearing nice dresses; the man is in a shirt with a tie. According to the photo’s owner, it depicts family (...) next to bicycles by their home in Będowo, Zielona Góra voivodeship (from the right (...) pregnant Adela, son Zdzisław, Adela’s sister – Maria (...), Adela’s husband – Stanisław (...) ; 1946, Będów, Zielonogórskie voivodeship ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
