Abstract:

This review article presents the results of investigations on biosynthesis of furanocoumarinsby plant tissue culture methods. Special attention has been paid to biologically active furanocoumarins. Results of investigations on biosynthesis of these metabolites both under conditions typical for in vitro culture and after elicitation were discussed.
