The photo depicts a group of schoolgirls posing together with the teaching staff made of nuns and a priest. On the back of the photo there is the inscription: “Photo taken by an unknown photographer in Oświęcim on 24. V. 1947 depicts the monastic-church teaching staff and schoolgirls from the Agricultural School which existed at that time” ; 24th May 1947, Oświęcim ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
