Description:

The photo depicts a large white building with a flat roof with a sign at the top: “Fruit storage”; in the middle on the front part, above the door, there is a second sign: “The Co-operative Association of Food Producers in Sienno”. On the right there is a fragment of a much smaller house – a white one with wooden shutters. Underneath the photo there is the following inscription: “A former view of the Co-operative house together with the neighbouring Jewish buildings” ; Sienna, voiv. mazowieckie ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
