Electronmicroscopy analyse srevealed cardiomyocytes that did no tshow any major changes in ultrastructure .However,most cells show eda number of abnormalities. Disorganization of myofilaments and numerous autophagous vacuoles were observed ).In some cardiomyocytes ultrastructurally altered cell nuclei characterized by break sin the nuclear envelope wereseen. Giant mitochondria, manytimes larger than typical werevisibl).Focally, glycogen granules were observed .Numerous lysosomes were seen in the biopsy
